Last night we had a bad experience! There were 4 of us! We ordered cauliflower and a cheese plate to start! It wasn't a memorable taste but it's acceptable! Then we ordered as a main course! Duck with guava sauce, Baked pork! And two cuts of meat! New York and ribeye ! We waited 40 min to be a server! But after 2 min we returned the duck because it had no flavor at all to bland! And my ribeye was salty! The meat seems it is cooked in a pan! I mean, there's nothing special about it! La comida estaba bien presentada, a la tabla de quesos le falta volumen o una tabla más angosta, la distribución de los ingredientes lo hace parecer que faltan cosas, costillas bien servidas, una buena porción de chuleta, la más gruesa que me han servido, aunque venia cruda en el área cercana al hueso, es de entender, algo tan grueso requiere técnica para servir, pero de ninguna manera se puede poner un platillo de cerdo semi crudo en la mesa, comí lo que pude y pedí para llevar lo demás. Tengo una semana esperando que me facturen y solo me dijeron que lo "procesarían" y no me ha llegado nada a mi correo. El ambiente es muy bueno, al menos el espacio que vimos, y el mesero hace su esfuerzo, pero tienen aspectos que mejorar. 7/10, sigo esperando mi factura. We've been hearing about this place a lot, we went to check it out, the service was not good, slow, it was not a busy night so there's no excuse for a bad service, specially for a place like this, the waiters not very nice and with a careless service attitude, they took to long for everything, and not a very nice image to be sitting down checking on your phone while having customers there. The food was alright but not perfect, specially the rib, it was chewey and not warm enough, we wanted to try the pork chop and it was not available, the risotto was amazing, the beef filet was good but I ordered medium rare and received 3/4, the octopus was amazing but the "chocolate lava cake" was just a warm chocolate pudin, the cheesecake was alright but the martinis were so bad. We did the tasting menu with the wine pairing, which I personally enjoyed to get a good representation of the menu. The service was polite and professional, and the team of servers did a great job of explaining the dishes and the pairings and keeping our glasses full. My favorite dish of the tasting menu was the croqueta or cauliflower - amazing! We’ll definitely be back for our next visit to PV! I found Zumo by happenstance and was shocked that something so beautifully decorated was also very reasonably priced, especially with it being so central. The atmosphere was upscale and yet very relaxed. The dishes were plated beautifully and were absolutely delicious. Chef Gustavo Caballero has an incredible talent for balancing flavors and introducing modern Mexican food to the uninitiated. My only regret is that I discovered Zumo the night before my departure! I wish I could have tried everything they had to offer. That being said, you HAVE to order the charred aguachile. It was out of this world. Truly a 10/10 experience. El lugar está súper agusto, con un ambiente tranquilo y elegante a la vez. La comida está deliciosa, tienen platillos con un toque moderno que de verdad te sorprenden. Además, la atención es de primera, te hacen sentir como en casa. Sin duda, un lugar para regresar.
